Full Stack Engineer
Your Commitment will include
- Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and develop Full Stack applications (backend and frontend) with a focus on performance and usability.
- Define and implement RESTful APIs (Django REST Framework) and GraphQL APIs (Strawberry).

- Frameworks: Django, FastAPI, React
- API Development: REST (Django REST Framework), GraphQL (Strawberry)
- Databases: PostgreSQL, DuckDB, Parquet (on S3 storage)
- DevOps Tools: GitLab, VSCode, Docker
- Testing Tools: PyTest, UnitTest, SonarQube, Postman
- Scheduling/Monitoring: Prefect
- Strong experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Full fluency in French with intermediate proficiency in English.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of ITIL and Hermes methodologies.
- Previous experience in public sector projects.

Network Engineer
Your Commitment will include
- Shape the digital future – as a network engineer, you bring data streams securely to their destination and ensure smooth connections that connect people and systems.
- 350 state-of-the-art SD networks in the DC and access areas, several next-generation firewall clusters and the canton-wide MPLS network have to be operated.
- Whether in 2nd level support in the network area or in consulting on network security – your expertise will be used in a variety of tasks.
- You will support the zoning of services, implement necessary firewall activations and maintain and further develop the modern Zero Trust architecture.
- The development of solutions and conceptual tasks in exciting projects enriches your area of responsibility.

- You have completed a computer science education or equivalent and have a Cisco certification as a CCNP.

Infrastructure System Engineer
Your Commitment will include
- Implement new infrastructure solutions and drive forward the further development of a multi-layered infrastructure landscape.
- You will take on engineering tasks and be jointly responsible for the technical implementation.
- Be a part of the engineering of a container platform (Docker, Kubernetes), the integration of IoT solutions, the introduction of a solution for online tax declarations, the development of a new command vehicle for the police and the provision of an AI platform.
- Specialize in engineering (innovation) topics and with targeted support, e.g. in the context of training and further education.
- Possibility of developing into a deputy of the division manager.
Achieving the difference requires
- Windows, network and infrastructure knowledge at engineering level and knowledge of a scripting language, ideally PowerShell.
- You are characterized by your conceptual and analytical way of thinking and you enjoy familiarizing yourself with new subject areas.
- You have a good understanding of business requirements in a complex IT environment and enjoy working with internal and external partners.
- You have several years of professional experience in a comparable function as well as training in the IT environment or a degree in computer science.

IT System Engineer Workplace Solutions
Your Commitment will include
- Design our workplaces with state-of-the-art technologies and create an innovative working environment for our employees.
- You will further develop the workplace including the associated management systems as needed (Intune, Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Configuration Manager).
- Create Powershell scripts and programs to automate processes.

- You have a degree in computer science from a university of applied sciences or have completed an apprenticeship in the IT sector.
- You have very good knowledge of the current Microsoft operating systems and have experience in automating processes with PowerShell.

HR Applikation Manager
Your Commitment will include
- You will manage and optimize various HR applications,
- Develop an HR controlling concept with the necessary and available KPIs, reporting structure and frequency, as well as data analysis,
- Monitor the application operations and ensure smooth processes,
- Resolve technical issues in 1st and 2nd level support and maintain interfaces
- Support and train HR users in application and process handling,
- Perform master data maintenance as needed or when testing changes
- Provide analyses for strategic decisions when required and recommend appropriate courses of action,
- Contribute to projects and the development of concepts in collaboration with business units.

- Dregree in a commercial apprenticeship (EFZ) and further training in business informatics or HR,
- You have a strong IT affinity and ideally good knowledge of HR applications (e.g., TimeShepherd Lothal, PEP),

Database Engineer
Your Commitment will include
- Manage, maintain, and optimize MySQL database systems.
- Implement and monitor database security measures, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Plan and perform regular backups and establish disaster recovery procedures.
- Analyze database performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize system efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application and system requirements.
- Conduct regular system updates, patches, and performance tuning.
- Document database structures, processes, and maintenance tasks.
- Produce an Assessment Report with findings and solution proposals and present it to stakeholders
- Develop encryption concepts (Blueprints) for MS SQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and additional DBMS.
- Support the implementation of database encryption by application and database developers for reference applications.
- Validate functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring test coverage and proper documentation (JIRA X-Ray).
- Adapt and refine concepts and solutions based on feedback and test results.
- Contribute to the design and implementation for additional DBMS (e.g., MariaDB, Oracle) and support future encrypted database projects.

- Proven experience in Database Engineering and Database Security, particularly with MySQL, MariaDB, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong expertise in database encryption techniques, security concepts, and performance optimization.
- Practical experience conducting feasibility studies, writing assessment reports, and presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-availability architectures.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies (functional and non-functional testing) and tools like JIRA X-Ray.

Full Stack Engineer
Your Commitment will include
- Develop and maintain applications using Java (minimum Java 8/11, ideally Java 17/21).
- Utilize Spring framework (Spring Boot, Data JPA/R2DBC, Webflux, Security) for backend development.
- Implement RESTful APIs and work with relational databases (SQL), ensuring efficient querying, indexing, and joins.
- Work with Kafka for messaging solutions (experience with side projects is a plus).
- Ensure application security with OAuth2, LDAP, and other security protocols.
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using Angular (minimum version 15, ideally 17).
- Utilize frontend technologies including TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, and NPM.
- Follow best practices in software development using tools like Git, JIRA, Maven, and Lint.

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Test Automation Engineer
Your Commitment will include
- Design, create and execute automation scripts using Selenium and Appium
- Collaborate with the team on automation approaches and strategies
- Create and maintain test plans, cases and scripts based on defined test automated standards and methodologies
- In compliance on the given requirements, develope and implement automated solutions within using Java and Angular
- Review and analyze test cases to improve the quality of the application
- Provide the team with feedback about the suitability of automation
Achieving the difference requires
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science and / or engineering or equivalent training
- 5 years of professional experience as test automation engineer in the web environment with tools such as Selenium, Appium and Jira
- Good experience in test design, test execution, test analysis, test protocols
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java

- Highly reliable and detail oriented
- Fluency in German. Any other language such as English are an advantage
